Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 7 am–7 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Estelle Bakery & Pâtisserie at (916) 551-1500; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 563 reviews, which is a strong result for an italian deli in Sacramento and suggests consistent service.
Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Sacramento is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I had high hopes for everything but was disappointed. Everything looks exceptional. Very beautiful presentation but the flavors lack. I got a matcha croissant, a cherry pastry, apple, passuonfruit and the chocolate one (forgot the names). The matcha croissant was stale. It tasted as if it was days old. I make croissants myself and even after a couple days they're still soft. Because it tasted miles away from fresh I could not enjoy it. If it was fresh/not stale I'm sure it would've tasted amazing. The cherry pastry was the best one I tried and I myself am not a big fan of cherry at all. I avoid it but the cherry one was the best. Could've been a little better in terms of sweetness. Its not very sweet at all. It just needs maybe a sprinkle more. The passion fruit was my second favorite and even that could use a little more sweetness. Again, not too much. I'm not a fan of super sweet stuff but just a little more would do. I seen another review that said its too sweet, I dont get that at all. The chocolate pastry was okay. Wasn't too much of anything going on there. The apple I absolutely did not like. I was expecting more from the filling but it was just apple sauce. I was expecting

Went here on a Sunday afternoon (LSOB). Parking is on the street, so it can be hard to find. Place was a little busy. Located next to Golden 1 Arena, they didn't have a lot of pastry selection since it was towards the end of the day (I assume). I ordered a blueberry muffin with an Island Latte. The muffin was pretty plain, but the latte was delicious. Coconut-prominent brew. Overall, a nice place to check out. May need to go earlier for better pastry selection. A good selection of drinks to choose in a cozy environment.

Baked goods and coffee were delicious! I had the Biscoff Latte and a Chocolate Mousse Cake. My husband had an Apple Croissant. The interior was very pretty and clean but almost had a slightly sterile feeling - I didn't get the feeling that lingering too long would be welcome. The staff was polite but not overly friendly. Overall I would visit again, but wish it felt a little more inviting and quant rather than upscale and sterile.

Everything great as per usual. It never disappoints. The food great as I remember from 4 years ago, as it was my favorite place in the area. There are many options for pastries, brunch food and beverages, and everything tastes as it looks, absolutely great. Highly recommend. We were always able to park, so it’s good usually, even if not that many spots.

Excellent food. Got the cheese danish and cowboy cookie, which were both delicious. Danish was perfect. Cookie was decent. A lot of chocolate chips which I wasn't expecting. Clean restroom and interior. Not overly expensive considering it's right next to the arena.
